Happy New Year to everybody.

Any New Year resolutions? I haven't made any - I never keep them anyway. Had a great lunch yesterday, ended the old year on a good note. Now, I am ready for the new year and what it brings.

Will be a little while I settled back in, I will post when I leave and maybe my train ride there!

Were you out so late that you saw the sun come up? LOL Just joking as I know that you get up earlier than most of us. Lovely photo Gina.

Thank you Emjay. I actually had to go back to my archives for a sunrise. I like the dawning of a new day for the beginning of a new year and we haven't had anything like sun in quite a while. Do hope this new year brings health and happiness to your family - wealth as well (so if you get rich, remember me!) LOL

Oh yeah - going by train, you'll have an opportunity for some nice landscape videos! Bet that train won't go fast enough for you. LOL

I'm taking the SW route. The fastest train to CA, 2 days.
Oh it will be worth the wait! 4-5 days by car...done that 4 times.

LOL @ wealth. I'll be happy to keep my job (I work in the construction industry). I used to occasionally buy lottery tickets but never won anything - I don't buy them anymore.

I let my mother buy the lottery tickets - she is somewhat lucky and just may hit it one of these days. You are lucky to still have your job in a construction field. Had I been working, I doubt that I would still have a job in the title field. We'll hope that your job continues through 2009!
