Another blast from the past for a little cheerful color in another otherwise gray wet day. LOL My torch lilies bloomed without me last year.

We had a good lunch yesterday. I took Barney in his little purse, but the neighbor left Wickett with her husband. The restaurant we go to eat lunch has two sections - the dining room and the bar. We usually sit in the bar for lunch since it's much quieter and we can carry on a conversation without having to talk over families. So, the neighbor and I now laugh - it took all of 37 seconds for Barney to be kicked out of the bar. LOL Not really - but I did put him in the car since he started barking and yipping as soon as we went in. However, the waitresses made over him and he loved it. We were joined shortly by another friend, who brought her little pug puppy. All the waitresses wanted me to bring Barney back in, so he met Tyson the pug, and once again enjoyed the attention of the waitresses from both sides of the restaurant. He was in doggie heaven. Wickett and Tyson do not bark. Barney, being a terrier mix, does bark. LOL We have decided that we need to have a doggy get-together with the three pups who are all basically about the same age.

Sounds like the flooding may be receding, so maybe we will get out this afternoon. It is raining again today - but I am not going to complain...at least it is just wet and not white.
