Things are settling down here now. Barney is getting much more comfortable and enjoys playing with his chew toys or sleeping in his playpen. A lot easier since he no longer wants to be held all the time.

Our forecast is more rain. It's not raining right now, but is still pretty gray, so we'll either have more rain today or tonight. Might accidentally see the sun peek through the clouds and between rain drops tomorrow.

Not much has been going on around here. Neither one of us really feels like getting out and going anywhere. The better half has the sniffles - I just ache. LOL Old joints don't like cold damp weather much. I can't complain about the temps though - it hasn't been all that cold, just need a coat or jacket; and can get by without that for short periods of time.

I ache too! Looking at new knee braces and wraps to purchase...they help, but not enough, either do pain killers the IB, but they are all something.

That's a great wingspan! This cold weather doesn't help the joints ... LOL (that sounds sort of funny!).

I do feel for you Pat. Ibuprofen, even in the 800 mg strength, would not do much to hold the pain at bay. While everything helps towards easing the pain some, it just really shocks me that your doctor doesn't give you something stronger, to at least take at night. Thanks - I love catching the owls out hunting.

To be a somewhat small owl, the shorteared wingspan is definitely impressive. While the cold weather don't help the joints, I imagine a joint or two would help tolerate the cold weather. hehehe

My review should be coming up this spring. I have had vicodin at times, but only short prescriptions. And i had to get it at my Dentist. I wear an immobilizer at night. Helps keep the leg straight as bending my knee hurts, I can only sit for so long too. Something I have been living with since coming up in July for 9 yrs.
Only elderly, war vets and those with pains really understand. thanks!
